If you’re planning to dine first the restaurant serves a cosmopolitan menu of modern French with an Asian twist or you can just select a few options from their light bites menu. Also, unusually for Bangkok, they do serve nibbles with the cocktails and if you come before 8pm you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of great value happy hour cocktails. The biggest thing you’ll come for is the views – because the bar covers the entire roof you can walk to all corners for a 360 degree uninterrupted city view, including the sunset. It would have ranked higher on our list if it was genuinely a rooftop bar but the bar itself is down one level from the roof. Even so, once you’ve grabbed a drink you can head up another floor and hang out at the revolving observation deck with gazebo. The best thing about The Roof Top Bar is the views, and from all the way up on the 83rd or 84th floor they are of course spectacular. Depending on the time you arrive you may be asked to pay an admission fee but this does include your first cocktail.
