Information Introduction Located in Yeoju-gun, Gyeonggi-do Province, the Hangang River Culture Pavilion is a commemorative cultural space where visitors can learn about the background and potential benefits of the Four Major Rivers Restoration Project
This restoration project (2009-2011) was launched by the Korean government as part of its environmental restoration and water shortage prevention efforts
Under the theme “Enjoying 5,000 Years of the Arts”, the Hangang River Culture Pavilion sheds light on the history and cultural assets of the Hangang River and provides opportunities to engage in various cultural activities
The center also displays media artwork by German artist Julius Popp, who is famous for creating novel experiences of communicating via drops of falling water
