Directions - Take the train to Daecheon Station at Yongsan Station (Departure every hour (05:40-14:28), 2 hour and 40 minute ride) - Board the bus to Seongju at Daecheon Station and get off at Seongju-myeon (Departure 45 times a day (06:50∼22:00), 20 minute ride) - 20 minute walk to Seongjusan Natural Recreation Forest)

Also, the observatory on the mountain peak (680m in elevation) offers a great view of Seongju-myeon and Oesan-myeon, and it takes about 2-3 hours to hike to the peak and return.
Nearby tourist attractions include the Seongjusaji Temple site and a coal museum (15 minutes on foot), as well as Daecheon Beach and Muchangpo Beach (20-30 minutes by car).
