Directions 1. From Cheonan Station, go to Cheonan Intercity Bus Terminal (Yauri building) and take city bus No. 100-1 bound for Asan Hot Springs resort. Get off at Onyang Hot Springs area (1 hour interval /40-50 min ride). 2. Taxi takes 30 min from Cheonan Intercity Bus Terminal (about 20,000 won). 3. Across from Onyang Intercity Bus Terminal, take city bus No. 100-1 bound for Asan Hot Springs resort (1 hour interval / 30 min ride). 4. Taxi takes 10 minutes (about 9,000 won). 5. From Onyang Hot Springs Station, walk 5-10 min.

During the Joseon Period, it is recorded that King Sejong (reign 1418~1450) and many other kings came here to rest or treat their illnesses.
Onyang Hot Springs, with its water temperature at around 57℃, is considered hot even among hot springs.
It has a high concentration of radium and its alkaline water is both high in quality and quantity.
It is known to be effective in treating neuralgia, arthritis, skin problems, liver disease, high blood pressure, and various geriatric diseases.
