Bukchon Cultural Center was established to offer traditional cultural experience opportunities for citizens in Seoul.
The programs include calligraphy, tea ceremony, handicraft, traditional culture class as well as a promotional hall introducing Bukcheon culture and hanok.
Also, the center houses a space and pavilion for visitors to take a rest. Program Supported by City of Seoul, Bukchon Cultural Center offers diverse seminars, which enable visitors to learn about traditional Korean culture and hanok (traditional Korean house) in Bukchon.
These seminars focus on preserving hanok in Bukchon and promoting hanok culture to the public.
Led by organizations related to traditional culture and craftsmen, these seminars are diverse and professional.
International visitors are welcome.
In addition, various cultural seminars are run every day in four rooms of the center so that visitors can attend any seminar upon visiting the center. Seminars: traditional crafts, traditional Korean music, embroidery, calligraphy, etc. bukchon.seoul.go.kr (Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese)
