It set critical roles for the establishment of world-wide gaming industries, including NEXON.
Thus Nexon Computer Museum was established in Jeju to share the rich history of computers and to display the digital phenomenon, which has increasingly become a pivotal segment of society, is valuable for future generations. The opening date of the museum: July 27, 2013 Structure Size Site

Age Limit for Activities Open to visitors ages 5 and older Exhibition Hall [1F, Welcome Stage] Nexon Computer Museum’s 1st floor exhibition “Welcome Stage” is inspired by Brenda Laurel’s book 『Computers as Theatre』.
The collection includes the original Apple I – one of the first modern personal computers, the first computer mouse prototype invented by Douglas Engelbart, the PC 5150 – first computer to use term ‘Personal Computer (PC)’, and the first home video game console Magnavox Odyssey.
Visitors can learn core features of personal computers along with their history and development; input/output, CPU, memory, graphic, sound and network. [2F, Open Stage] The illusion of physical presence in a 3D-rendered imaginary world! The original prototype to the future prototype of the game NCM Library archives all game-related experiences with vast collection of retro home video consoles (such as Magnavox Odyssey), game software and magazines.
[3F, Hidden Stage] 3rd floor “Hidden Stage” concentrates on how computer changed and expanded our everyday life. Open Storage features a vast number of critically acclaimed computers, as well as several other most widely used devices from the past from 1980-90 which will be an nostalgic experience. [B1, Special Stage] Nostalgic computer game room “Special Stage” covers the history of classic video games, with a perspective of arcade machines as one of the first computer to reach mainstream and entertainment from 1980’s and 1990’s.
