  Great place for walking. Especially as my son lives in Hong Kong & has 2 very lively dogs called Cash & Miso. We walk for hours & the dogs love it. Lantau is not just where the airport is it's much much more. Go & bust for yourself. Especially if you like keeping fit.

  Experience the beautiful countryside of Hong Kong. Easy to reach various trails by bus from Tung Chung. The best place (except Sai Kung) to walk in tranquility and peace in Hong Kong

  The Lantau trail is great and has a number of different sections but this time it was so hot and sunny we just stuck to the cable car, Budda and wisdom path rather than climbing in the heat.

  Lantau has an abundance of trails to enjoy. The Lantau trail has numerous sections and something for everybody. Perfect starting point is the Big Buddha which can be reached by Gondolo or Bus.

  if you don't have any problem to stay up for 40 minutes than u must to use it, otherwise go by bus which will take you to the best Buddha in Hong Kong

  There was a long queue to take the cable cars as cable cars were not operational due to bad weather. I did not wait for the cable car but took a bus service to the park without wasting time.   We had four days in Hong Kong and spent one whole day on Lantau Island. Plan on 5-6 hours round trip to see Big Buddha.
