Firmly established as the world's premier event of its kind and one of the most popular annual sporting events in Asia, the Hong Kong Sevens attracts some of the world's greatest rugby players and thousands of fans from every corner of the globe to the magnificent Hong Kong Stadium every year.

HK7S must be an unforgettable three days for spectactors with fast and furious rugby action combined with a carnival atmosphere and world rugby's largest prize purse. Organised by Hong Kong Rugby Union, HK7S is responsored by Cathay Pacific / HSBC and attracted 120000 spectators.

HK7S is accounted for one of important stands of world rugby event, given to support of spectators and participation of rugby players. Korea, Australia, New Zealand, East Canada, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Fiji, Singapore are received invitations for participation of HK7S.

Included Argentina, Australia, Canada, England, Fiji, France, Japan, Kenya, New Zealand, Portugal, Samoa, Scotland, South Africa, America, and Wales, there are 15 racing team. Thus, 16th racing team--Belgium will be 57th attendants.

Also, there are 12 racing teams which are prepared for outside race held in Hong Kong Museum, too. Coming from 6 continents, they are perfervid about attaining the quality of the only racing team. Winners will take the place of end-ranking teams and participate in HSBC UK Sevens 2017. They are Russia, Spain, Papua New Guinea, East Canada, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Mexico, Guyana, Uruguay and Brazil.


Hong Kong Museum is venue of HK7S rebuilt in March 1994 with capacity of 40000 persons. As the largest outdoor multifunctional recreation area. The stadium is designed as an ideal venue for all kinds of sports, religious and community activities.
