Underwater World Pattaya was officially opened on 4th July 2003 and is the first modern aquarium in Thailand. It features a 100-metre long underwater tunnel with a capacity of 3.8 million litres of water, which showcases an impressive diversity of 5,000 fishes from 500 species from Thailand and around this region. Besides opening visitors eyes to the brilliance and diversity of undersea life, Underwater World Pattaya also plays an important role in education and marine conservation. School visits are actively supported, and new educational programs are constantly being developed.

    This is a great place to visit while staying in pattaya, I had a good 1hour walk round to see all the amazing marine life, (loved the turtle near the feeding kois especially) then I had a bite to eat which wasn't to much money and alloy mak mak! I then decided I wanted to dive with the big shark and the turtles, the instructors (1 man and 1 lady) where amazing with helping you with what you need the very polite and good at what they do, I paid 3000baht for 1hour diving in 2 tanks which was breath taking, it was a first time for me diving and have deffinatly got the bug! Swimming with giants is unbelievable, Cannot fault this place good all round 1000% worth the money 5* all round hopefully will be going again!

    I had no high expectations for this but I was suprised, beautiful fish tanks with lots of different fish large and small. Going through the whole aquariumet takes about one hour, definitely worth a trip.

    Really enjoyed my trip here, some huge beasts of the sea and some equally amazing small ones to wonder at, the jellyfish display is amazing with the lights

    Not a must visit place but you can go with your children if you have spare time. Though it is not a huge one the species are quite rare. Specially the Sting Ray and variety of Jelly Fish.
