How can you get from Cancun, Mexico to Corozal, Belize?

I found an economical way and a fast way to get there (both could be round trips). By bus, you could save $500 or more but it is a five hour ride or get there quickly if your group is in a hurry. The first link is from 2009, so the prices have obviously changed. I use google maps to plan my local trips but it does list the airline/commuter flights going there for you to review in English.

I see that Eastside guys has mentioned ADO. ADO have about 10 buses a day from Cancun to Chetumal. The cost for that trip would be between $300 and $500 Mexican pesos.
I mention this because it may be easier to bus from Cancun to Chetumal and then look at options from Chetumal to Corozal.

I would definitely fly. If you're vacationing, I know you see the countryside by bus, but I'd rather do other things with my available time. If you know the exact dates you could buy your ticket online at least 3-4 weeks before you leave. Expedia.com is a very good website for booking tickets. I did not take the bus often, but once we had a flat tire and once there was a brake problem (in the mountains Mexico City to Acapulco). We lost so many hours to wait for these parts, which turned me off of bus travel anywhere, lol, lol.
