Back to Fullerton Hotel, we were first served with the drink and hot scones (plain and raisins), complemented with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Their scone is one of my favorite thing from the buffet. They are a little moist with a smooth texture, unlike many others which are usually dry and flaky.
I went for afternoon tea yesterday with my 10 year old daughter for a treat before flying back to the UK on Friday. The experience and customer service was second to none as usual and our waiter Balan was very attentive and saw to our every need. Nowhere else have we received the service that we always receive in this hotel each time we visit Singapore.
We've had the opportunity to dine during afternoon tea time at the Courtyard on a weekday and the ambience was so good because of the lack of the weekend crowd. The 3-tier tea platter was surprisingly filling for the two of us but that didn't stop us from accepting seconds and thirds from the friendly servers.
