The cable car experience was one of the best that we had been. As someone said before, it is worth getting the sky land and sea pass to visit Tai O. We found Ngong Ping village itself rather touristy but Tai O is a quaint nice fishing village. So we pretty much skipped all of Ngong Ping village and headed straight to Tai O. We were lucky to see the rare white dolphins on the boat trip. There are many restaurants in Tai O. We went to one in which there were a lot of diners. The food was good and affordable. We also went to a small shop run by an old lady selling soya desserts and soy milk. It was cheap and delicious

A super cool cable car ride up to a village in the mountains. The walk up to the Big Buddha was a hike up a lot of stairs but was worth it! I highly recommend this adventure!

The rope car experiance is awesome. The crystal cabin is a must see. I thought the ride was just few minutes but its more than 20 mins with beautiful views.

Very, very touristy this place, race through it on your way to the Monastery, which is great. But you can eat reasonably there, buy some water and go to the bathroom, so it is practical that it is there
