The Moonbird Only Thinks of the Moon(달새는달만생각한다)

The Moonbird Only Thinks of the Moon is a tradition teahouse in Insa-dong. Opened in 1996, this establishment does not stand out as it is located in a small alley near the busy Ssamzie-gil. However, it is popular with people who are attracted by the charms of traditional teahouses. The shop is decorated with various masks, straw shoes, and paintings to enhance its traditional Korean style. It is fun to find messages or drawings on napkins left by visitors from all over the world.

Dawon(전통다원)

Dawon is a tea house that operates in a hanok (traditional Korean house). Located in the busy tourist area of Insa-dong, this place offers the visitors a moment to relax and find peace in the city. When seated, greenery and flowers in the private garden make for a nice view while sipping tea and snacking on Korean desserts like assorted ttoek (rice cakes). There are many teas available, with more than 15 varieties, all of which originate from Korea.
