APLF Workshops Launched in 2015, the inaugural APLF Workshops presented a series of leather craft workshops during the fair for visitors to experience and be creative with leather. The event attracted the participation of an international mix of leather craft artisans and designers who shared this learning experience with their peers and colleagues. It also generated a lot of local and international media attention not only limited to trade media as the event was picked up and released on various online and offline channels. This September, the event returns with many fun and exciting workshops. Confirmed presenting companies include: Brothers Leathercraft, Life Boutique, Sabah Design Studio and The Hong Kong Hide & Leather Traders' Association. Networking events As an APLF initiative, the Best of APLF Awards (BOAA) will be held during Fashion Access. The programme was launched back in 2004 as the Organisers saw the need to raise the bar for all exhibitors by creating an awards programme that would encourage the pursuit of excellence in design and quality. The programme has continued to the present day where the awards presentation takes place in a relaxed and entertaining format to celebrate all the hard work and efforts the winners put in.
