Introduction: Golden tofu is a classic dish of the Han nationality in Guangdong and belongs to the Cantonese cuisine. The tofu cubes are scalded in salty water and put in a plate. Next, the salted egg yolk is stir-fried for one minute and crushed, and salt, glutamate and ground pepper are added in. The dish is ready after the egg yolk is coated over the tofu along with some chopped green onion. This food is also a good source of Calcium, Protein, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Copper and Selenium. When soybeans are made into tofu, the absorption rate of the protein becomes nearly 95%.
