EVENTS
"Siam Ocean World" has officially changed its name to "SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World"
On December 8th 2014, Siam Ocean World will be offically rebranded as "SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World". The freshly renovated attraction will present visitors with a world of new and exciting experiences to discover. The "Penguin Ice Adventure" will take you to a cold ice-covered South Pole, so you can get up close and personal with the adorable Gentoo Penguins. Also, an "Ocean Tunnel" zone opens a portal for visitors to see some predatory sharks against the backdrop of the Thai epic of Phra Aphai Mani, his magic flute and the giantess.
Gentoo Penguins have arrived at SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World!
SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World will welcome adorable new friends, "Gentoo Penguins". They are the third largest species of penguin in the world, behind only the Emperor and King penguins. These 10 cute little Gentoo penguins were brought in from faraway Billound, Denmark, and are ready to celebrate the grand opening of SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World with us!
SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World invites all children under the age of 10 to join us as our Penguin Ambassadors. They will be among the first lucky guests to meet these cute penguins up close.
To celebrate the arrival of our new Gentoo penguins that mark the grand opening of SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World on December 8th 2014, we will be selecting two children aged 5 to 10 to perform duties as "Penguin Ambassadors" for SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World. The two children will be selected based on personality, charisma, a love of animals, and an eagerness to participate. Penguin Ambassadors will have responsibilities such as welcoming the 10 Gentoo penguins to the SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World facilities, as well as serving as ambassadors in a variety of activities for SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World in the future.

COMMENTS “A must visit place when on holiday in Thailand.”
September 13, 2015
It's a must to do for people on vacation in Thailand. Located in one of the most sophisticated mall in Bangkok, it's a treat to watch. Had done booking an advance online booking, which provided discount. Could see a large variety of creatures. Some of them which were not seen by us earlier. The shows were also nice. Takes around 2 hours minimum to go through. Went for the glass bottom ride for seeing sharks. Value for your money. The tkt we bought also provided for popcorn and cola.
“Fun for young families for sure”

Our little girls (3 and 7) LOVED this place. Its just a typical type aquarium that you will see in many big cities around the world. But its still very well done, very professional, and good for a few hours of fun. Definitely recommend it for young families.
