Bienvenidos! Welcome to Chile. An arrival transfer from the airport to your hotel is included in your tour. This complimentary transfers is only applicable on Day 1 of your Intrepid trip or if pre tour accommodation is booked through Intrepid (please advise flight arrival details at least 14 days prior to departure if you wish to have this transfer provided). You can arrive to your hotel at any time where an envelope with the necessary vouchers and contact details will be awaiting for you. Although Santiago covers a large area, the city centre is quite compact and easy to get around. The city's centre is roughly triangular in shape with the Plaza de Armas, the main plaza and home to the Cathedral, sitting in the centre. This morning you will be picked up from your hotel at approximately 9am. Your local guide will take you on a walking tour of Santiago visiting the Plaza de Armas in the city's historic centre, the Central Market with its colourful seafood restaurants and the Palacio de la Moneda, the seat of government and presidential residence. Later you will be transfered to Concha y Toro winery to learn and experience first hand why Chile is one of the wine producing capitals of the world.

There are no activities planned for the final day and you are able to depart the accommodation at any time.
