Not a lot happens in the sleepy seaside town of Inhambane (one of the oldest settlements on Mozambique’s east coast) which is the perfect excuse for you to do nothing at all. Arrive at Travessia Beach and laze the day away on white-sand beaches. You can swim, snorkel; have a snooze, go for a stroll and do as much or as little as you like on this relaxing beach break. Enjoy an ice-cold beer at sunset and fall asleep to the sounds of waves lapping against the shore from your cosy beachfront casita. This is a great short break to add to the end of a longer African adventure.
