As the only one Zoo in Phuket island, Phuket Zoo, a park with Thai features,houses various animals especially species from Asia and Africa. There are more than 600 species of birds, 100 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 45 species of mammals in this zoo.

Opened in 1997 and covering an impressive 12 acres, Phuket Zoo is home to a wide array of attractions, from peaceful paths through natural surroundings to exciting animal shows which include Monkey Shows(09:00, 12:00, 14:30, 16:45), Crocodile Shows(09:45, 12:45, 15:15, 17:30) and Elephant Shows(10:30, 13:30 , 16:00).  

The zoo is absolutely a place for a family trip and family Halloween adventure if there are children.
