– EDUCATING FOR 21st CENTURY SKILLS IN SOUTHEAST ASIA – Southeast Asia is developing fast. A hub of activity, creation and learning, the education sector is relied upon to equip both young and adult learners to live in this changing world. How do we as educators ensure that the content of our courses and curriculums are relevant to our pupils? How do educators give students the necessary skills for success in this fast moving 21st century? What are those skills? Join us for a discussion with some of Bangkok’s top female educators and experts in the field as they share their experience and talk about the future of education particularly in Southeast Asia. The changing nature of education will be discussed along with the specific skill sets needed in the 21st century. The focus on more experiential learning and hands on approaches will be touched upon, as will the involvement of technology in education and the role of the teacher. Our speakers for this discussion will be Sally Holloway – KIS International School, Sandy Loup – Stenden Thailand University, and Rojanon Krajangwong – Stamford International University. The discussion will be led by Kim Cofino – COETAIL. This event is open to anyone currently working in development or interested in the field. Men are encouraged to attend and we welcome your input into the discussion!
