The nostalgic good old way to travel in Central and Hong Kong island is the best way, one can travel back in time. There is no aircon on the bus and can be pretty packed during peak hours, as this is the cheapest means of transport - comparing to their public buses and train, but pretty nice way to travel especially in Nov/ Dec, during their cooling season.

As the name suggests that's what it all about riding in a two story very skinny tram for a bygone era but what a awesome way to look around Hong Kong we spent a couple of hours riding the tram just taking in the sites

The old style public transportation somehow attracted me a lot! It is definitely not the fastest way to move around the city but it is the best way to touch the real life of Hong Kong people! It is a must try!!

The trams are a great way to seethe Hong Kong streets in all their glory and gives a glimpse of the local flavour of the areas they travel through.

We went from Central to Causeway Bay. We got off in Wan Chei because we spotted a street market which looked interesting. The tram stops at every stop, the best views are on the top deck but be careful when climbing downstairs to get off.

They are regular and very easy to jump on and off. They are a very cheap way of visiting many places and great if you spot something of interest to just jump off and back on again.
