I chose to see this show rather than the Siam Niramit because it was closer to my hotel. Was 10 minutes away. Go early there is a lot to see like the bird cave, floating village, tourist shops. I found the souvenirs too expensive. But the show is the star. Its amazing, I loved the story, the music, the elephant tricks, the traditional dances. It's good fun to watch for the family unlike the cabaret shows. Do not leave Phuket without watching this one.
Wish I had read a few more of the reviews. . Bus drop off way to early. Dinner was awful. . Mass produced Asian banquet. . Awful doesn't even begin to describe it. 2 hr wait before the show starts. The show was just a random selection of acts. . Didn't seem to flow or make any sense at all.. I liken it to a poor quality school production.
The 'theme park' can be likened to a 'hello kitty' explosion. Even the staff/stall holders liked bored. And I didn't see a lot of souvenir bags being carried around . . . That says it all
